Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to the L’Dodi Press Affiliate Program. By joining our program, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to understand your rights and obligations as an affiliate.

2. Definitions

  • Company: L’Dodi Press, located at 3609 Seward St, Omaha, NE 68111.
  • Affiliate: An individual or entity approved to participate in the L’Dodi Press Affiliate Program.
  • Affiliate Link: A unique URL provided to the Affiliate for tracking referrals.
  • Commission: The monetary compensation earned by the Affiliate for qualifying sales.
  • Customer: An individual who purchases products from L’Dodi Press through the Affiliate’s referral.

3. Enrollment and Acceptance

To join the Affiliate Program, you must:

  • Eligibility: Be at least 18 years old and have a functioning website or platform suitable for promoting our products.
  • Application: Complete and submit the Affiliate Program Application available on our website.
  • Approval: L’Dodi Press reserves the right to accept or reject any application at our sole discretion. You will be notified of your acceptance or rejection within 48 hours of application submission.

4. Affiliate Responsibilities

As an Affiliate, you agree to:

  • Promotion: Actively promote L’Dodi Press books and retail items using ethical marketing practices.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all applicable laws, including anti-spam regulations and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials.
  • Content: Ensure that your promotional content does not contain false or misleading information about our products.
  • Brand Integrity: Avoid any activities that may harm L’Dodi Press’s reputation, including promoting on websites that contain offensive or illegal content.

5. Affiliate Links and Tracking

  • Assignment: Upon acceptance into the program, you will receive a unique Affiliate Link to track referrals.
  • Usage: You may place Affiliate Links on your website, social media platforms, or other approved channels.
  • Prohibited Actions: You must not use your Affiliate Link to offer unauthorized incentives to potential customers.

6. Commissions and Payment

  • Commission Rate: Affiliates earn a commission on the net sale amount of qualifying purchases. The current commission rate(s) are as follows:
    Sitewide — 10%
  • Payment Schedule: Commissions are paid monthly, provided the minimum payout threshold of $5.00USD.
  • Payment Method: Payments are made via PayPal or bank transfer. Fees may be assessed for the transfer.
  • Returns and Chargebacks: Commissions are not paid on refunded or charged-back sales.

7. Term and Termination

  • Duration: This agreement begins upon your acceptance into the program and continues until terminated by either party.
  • Termination by Affiliate: You may terminate this agreement at any time by notifying L’Dodi Press in writing.
  • Termination by Company: L’Dodi Press reserves the right to terminate your participation in the program at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice.
  • Effect of Termination: Upon termination, you must remove all Affiliate Links and cease promoting L’Dodi Press products immediately.

8. Confidentiality

All confidential information, including but not limited to business and financial information, customer and vendor lists, and pricing and sales information, disclosed by L’Dodi Press to the Affiliate during the term of this agreement is proprietary and confidential. The Affiliate agrees not to disclose or utilize any such confidential information without prior written consent from L’Dodi Press.

9. Limitation of Liability

L’Dodi Press will not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages arising in connection with this agreement or the Affiliate Program. We make no express or implied warranties or representations with respect to the Affiliate Program or an Affiliate’s potential to earn income from the program.

10. Modification

L’Dodi Press may modify any of the terms and conditions within this agreement at any time at our sole discretion. In such cases, you will be notified via email. Modifications may include, but are not limited to, changes in commission rates, payment procedures, and Affiliate Program rules. If any modification is unacceptable to you, your only option is to terminate this agreement. Your continued participation in the Affiliate Program following the posting of the change notice or new agreement on our site will indicate your agreement to the changes.

11. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to the conflicts of laws and principles thereof.
